Mobile Apps

Cardinal Scale's in-house programming team located at the factory and company headquarters in Webb City, MO has developed a number of different mobile apps for tablets and smart phones that perform a variety of remote weighing functions ranging from mobile truck weights and ID storage/indicator remote control to advanced load cell diagnostics. Whether your operation is performing legal-for-trade NTEP aggregate-related weighing functions or non-legal-for-trade agriculture-related weighing, Cardinal Scale has a mobile app that can benefit your business. For mobile app Wi-Fi connectivity with a 200 series or 825 Cardinal Scale indicator, we recommend the model S2WIFI serial to Wi-Fi module that provides weatherproof wireless Ethernet in a compact polycarbonate box. These Cardinal Scale mobile apps may be downloaded directly from Google Play for Android® devices and the App Store for Apple® devices.

Pathway

Cardinal Scale’s Pathway mobile app provides all of the standard truck scale ID storage functions that are normally performed at the weight indicator directly to your smart phone. Pathway allows the power of the NTEP 825 Spectrum indicator’s weight display in a mobile device which allows truck drivers the efficiency and safety of remaining in their truck while weighing. Using Cardinal Scale’s S2WIFI or the customer’s wireless network for Wi-Fi connectivity, Pathway provides your truck scale operation with unattended weighing for a very minimal cost. E-mail or print detailed tickets come with up to 4 customized self-prompting IDs directly through your Android® or Apple® mobile device.

RemoteWeigh

RemoteWeigh makes your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch into a remote control for your Cardinal/Detecto weight indicators. Up to eight different weight indicators may be connected simultaneously. Real-time updating weight is displayed. Provided functions include zero, tare, gross/net. ID, and change units. RemoteWeigh may be used as an 825 indicator remote control and supports Cardinal prompting protocol. Weight tickets may be printed to AirPrint printers, or shared via email or iMessage/SMS. Supported weight indicators include ScaleNet, 190 with network option, 200 series with network option, 201, and the 825. Scroll left or right on iPhone or iPod touch to show all weight indicators. An iPad will show four indicators simultaneously.

ScaleNET IDS

Cardinal’s ScaleNET IDS mobile app allows you to use your mobile phone or tablet as a weight indicator. End users can input up to 5 completely-customizable IDs and e-mail, text, or save the weight ticket, which includes the Ticket Number, Time/Date, GPS location (if enabled), and Gross/Tare/Net. The ScaleNET IDS app works in conjunction with Cardinal’s ScaleNET Wi-Fi weight transmitter to provide a wireless mobile device weight display for non-legal-for-trade agricultural and industrial weighing applications where remote viewing and entry of information through the device is important. ScaleNET IDS is available for download on Google Play for Android® devices and the App Store for Apple® devices. Weight tickets may also be printed, and this requires a third-party app for Android® (Google® Cloud Print) and an AirPrint printer for Apple® devices.
